Purchased digital. Still cant access.

I purchased a digital subscription via an email asking me, as a previous print subscriber, to come back at a discounted rate. I purchased through the web and now cant get access on my iPad. The instructions for subscribers are wrong -- and perhaps this is because of the recent apple update, but Im extremely frustrated.
